Hey Folks, Here's what I finally did:
I ordered an overpriced, but nice enclosure for a backup for the new mac mini at home [1], ordered a new hard drive for my laptop, and a cheaper enclosure for the old drive from my laptop (a Macally PHR-250CC --- no pic, because it is boring).
So... got to spend a bunch of money for not much result. Still... it'll be good to recover info and keep using at least one of the drives. I dunno what I'll do with the other two drives, yet. Might get a gizmo like Brian talked about.
As for the monitor... I'll have to get another one, I think. The green gun appears to be out completely. Thanks for the help.
