That's the way it has always been. • select songs desired by [CMD/click] or [click/SHIFT/click]. • place mouse (arrow pointer) over any songs now selected and do [CNTRL/click] for a contextual menu to either check or uncheck all selected. • alternately, use playlists and "select all" to check/uncheck.
