I had tried Panasonic, Sony, and a pretty expensive Shure. I liked
some of these but nothing made the iPod "pop" with sound, until I got
the Bose. WOW, they are really great. The guy that checked me out at
Best Buy last week ask how I liked the Bose earbuds, I told him I
loved them and he said that he has owned two sets and there was no way
he could convince others just how good they were. I feel the same for
the sound is very rich.

A couple caveats.

Getting used to the "feel" of these may take awhile. You think they
are going to fall out of the ear, but they don't.

Bose has a cord management system that really works great, that is
there is a cord that you can wrap around the left and right bud, then
this goes around your neck which means that I leave these on all the
time when wearing the iPod. You can easily pull the pod out of the
ear to talk and it doesn't fall to your feet to walk on, this is a
great feature. There is also a clothes clip that you can adjust up
and down the cord that then can be clipped to your shirt so cord
control is great.......until you throw it all down for when you want
to put back on so often you have to untangle but for this minor
nuisance.

Finally the box comes with three sizes that fit into the ear. Once
you find the one that works you might want to glue them to the pod for
I lost them on three different occasions so I ended that with a little
Krazy Glue.
