Nevertheless -- Happy belated birthday ED, ANYWAY! The Apples at the
Apple Store don't quite get it, although they run around like busy
bees in different colored t-shirts the meaning of which is also
obscure.
They need ONE MANAGER in charge, one with an overview.
There is never anybody to nail down when it comes to an issue, ----and
common sense is mostly swallowed up by rules or whatever when
everybody knows they don't and can't apply in certain individual
cases. And then they always run into the back to get their orders or
their in-speak as to how to handle a situation from this anonymous
guru or the fountain of wisdom.
And I don't mean to doubt that the little Apples rolling around don't
do their very best. It is the lack of a unifying mind in the store. I
often wonder who gives them their orders ultimately. The whole thing
to me always seems quite kafkaesque.

Looks like Oxmoor is sold out. A tip wait to go a week day.
I tried it Saturday an waited 2 hours in line and it would have
taken me another 3 to get the phone so I had to leave.
Not a great way to spend your birthday waiting for an iPhone.
