I mentioned in a previous thread that I use several of the earbuds, the Shure are GREAT for keeping all the outside sounds out, so I wear them when I am mowing and using loud equipment for the certainly protect the ears. These are in the $100.00 range in price.
I use a Sony earbud when I drive for it allows the outside noise of traffic and conversation to still filter through even though I am listening to music to entertain and keep me awake. Cost between $30.00 to $40.00.
