I just got a reply to a message I sent out yesterday, September 4,
2008 4:34:40 PM EDT).

I finally received a reply today that is marked September 5, 2008
9:10:10 AM EDT. However the official US Time( I checked on the
Internet) is 8.48 AM September 5.

Also according to the message, it was sent out Thursday, September 04,
2008 3:34 PM.

I understand that it might take a while for an e-mail to go out reach
my ISP and eventually reach my machine. But what accounts for all
these mixed up dates and times? By the way, the time on my computer
agrees with the US Clock.

Anne
