In Quicktime Pro I am using the Export function to convert an .mp4
file to .wmv (Quicktime format to Windows Media Viewer). Purpose is so
I can embed a movie into a Powerpoint presentation that will be played
on a Windows machine. (Powerpoint 2003 for Windows allows .wmv files
but not .mp4.)

Quicktime Pro _seems_ to export the file with no problems, but when I
play the movie, the .wmv version is approximately half as long as the
original (43 seconds for original; the .wmv stops at about 24
seconds). The 24 seconds of the .wmv file that does play looks
perfectly good; it just ends way too soon.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this and how to
fix it?

Dan
