What version of OSX is on the laptop?
Is this a new or a used MacBook?
Was the OS a fresh install on the laptop?

If you are having problems I am sure the MacAuthority would be able to
Get things straighten out.

Subject: [MacGroup] New laptop

I got a new laptop at MacAuthority Monday, but it
won't let me choose the username I'm using on my
current lampshade with Panther. I can't transfer
my data with a different username, can I? I'm
stuck. Why is the darn thing so picky? Is there
any way to get around this? If not, I'm going to
return everything and upgrade as far as I can.....
Suzanne Blake, feeling dumb
