Greg --

I think it would work, but I would rather plug it into the HDMI port on the TV instead of S-video or composite. I think HDMI will display at a higher resolution than those.

Thanks,

Sandy

Yes, that's it, you should be able to get that at MacAuthority, or Apple Store in Oxmoor.

I have a macbookpro that I bought about 2 months ago. I'm guessing the video out port is the one used to add a monitor to the laptop? Also, do you know where I can purchase this cable?

Thanks,

Sandy

What kind of Mac do you have?

All you need is a cable that hooks up to what ever video out you have to HDMI or RCA to TV...

Has anyone done this? If so, what cables do I need? With the proper cables would I be able to watch Netflix, youtube and iTunes movies on my television? My TV is a year old and has 2 HDMI ports.

Thanks,
