Did you recently update to QuickTime 7.6. Your problem sounds a lot like the other ones I heard of. Here is a repeat of my message from earlier today:
Two other Mac groups I belong to have had members report strange problems after using Software update to install QuickTime 7.6. Folders disappear and Finder comes to the fronts and opens windows previously closed were the way they described the behavior. Both had recently installed the QuickTime 7.6 update. Someone pointed them to the following and you might keep this in mind if you have are getting ready to update QT or are experiencing strange problems after doing so. I'm waiting until either the problem has been solved or I have a compelling need for QT 7.6 (I'm currently using QT 7.5.5). There seems to be some issues with QuickTime 7.6 that people are experiencing. http://www.macintouch.com/readerreports/quicktime7/index.html#d22jan2009 Anne Cartwright On Jan 23, 2009, at Jan 23, 2009 6:22 PM, Wendi Williams wrote: > Hi, group, > > My G5 is acting funny.
