As Alex posted Toast is the way to go. The TiVo app in Toast works well can be squirrelly at times but does the job the latest version will auto convert to iPod format for you overnight so you can watch a show at lunch. There is a free app out there but I tried it out and it was real bad. So Toast it is.

Is there an easy (and cheap) way to transfer a program I recorded on TIVO to my MacBook Pro? If there is not an easy / cheap way what are my alternatives? The TIVO is connected to my home network. _______________________________________________ The next Louisville Computer Society meeting will be January 27 at MacAuthority, 128 Breckinridge Lane.
