I tried, but failed. The title and key words are all being passed by the AppleScript with the command
xiftool -title 'image_title' keywordslist -comment ...The key words are not being escaped before being passed and I don't see any documentation for the -title option to xiftool on its man page [1], so I don't know the desired format of the data. It looks like a bug to me. Why don't you write the author?
