| Nelson, Here is a site I went to this morning, this is right from Safari:
On the right side you see several choices, one being .pdf format. When I click on the pdf. I get this, which are a few lines from the 10 page pdf. It is not just the US that is in recession. The world is slowing down, and rapidly. This week we quickly survey the rest of the world, and then come back to the US. We follow up with the implications for corporate earnings worldwide, and specifically address my speculations about earnings forecasts for 2009. When I go to the bottom of the page with the mouse I have this appear: ![]() I don't have to do anything with it if I want to read the PDF, I continue to scroll down the pdf. If I want to save the pdf I click on the far right icon, the one with the arrow pointing toward the computer. If I want to view the pdf in a thumbnail layout with the sidebar showing the various pages I click on the second icon and the other two icons are to zoom in and out. If you don't get this system when you click on a pdf format I am thinking it must be a problem with Adobe as was mentioned earlier. My system and Safari are the latest that Apple offers.
