Greg,Harry is right, you can't "drag" a file to iTunes and then have iPhone be able to use it. Open the file in Quicktime and then EXPORT it and choose the mp4. Then that file can be put into iTunes or emailed and the iPhone will be able to play the video from the email or be loaded with the next docking.
