I have Phoneview and it works great you can see all the files on the phone. I have air sharing which mounts your phone as a shared drive. Which is a common way that most the the drive app's for the phone work using wifi and web-severing to mount the iphone to the desktop. None will make the iPhone mount to the desktop like the old iPods would and be available where ever you plugged it in. We will have to see what is possible with the up coming 3.0 software to see if someone can come up with an app that will do it.
