I have uploaded ver. 3.0 for the iPhone, and installed the first upgrade as well.

Here is something that I can't duplicate on the Mac's but the iPhone has, so watch out if you ever plan a devious prank on your neighbor or coworker now there seems to be a record that you can't erase.

I played around with the searching on the iPhone and when I looked up a topic or an individual in the "found" list there would be emails displayed from WAY back that have already been wiped off the Mac and the server, yet there they were. Every word, every email!!!

I checked the Mac to see if I could find the same and no, they were gone, so how in the world is the iPhone pulling up emails that were back in December and have been wiped from the Mac? I am using POP mail and when I download them from Win.net they are wiped from the server, when I delete them from Mail I use "Apple K" which permanently erases them......but not from the all knowing iPhone.

Any way to get these off the iPhone? When I deleted the mail message manually from the iPhone they would not be deleted. Caught beneath the streets of Boston and I can't get off.........

John
