I have not had any problems with AT&T and the iPhones. All contact with service reps very good. Cannot say the same for my experiences with sprint and verizon.

The big thing now is when Apple opens up the iPhone to other carriers how many folks will jump? According to many reports the worst thing on the iPhone is having to deal with ATT, and when the iPhone is opened to other carriers, most iPhone users say they will bail to other carriers.

Sounds like they are having the same experience I had with ATT... Nothing is worth having to deal with ATT... Sorry.

But ATT&T was the only carrier that allowed Steve Jobs to do his job without interfering. Something to said about the company's humility

I've dealt with ATT and will NEVER again deal with them... So I just wait until it is available for the provider I use...

ATT is the main reason I've not gotten an iPhone. I'm not willing to put up with all the bs from ATT. As soon as they are available on any carrier I will be getting one.

I've said a lot lately that when the iPhone makes the switch to Verizon everyone will hate them instead. Ask any Verizon user about all the picky things they pull for their users, what kind of features they arbitrarily turn off on their phones and charge extra for. They may have more ubiquitous coverage, but at the core they are still just a cell phone company.

I love the iPhone and the minor annoyances with AT&T don't begin to compensate for that. Not getting an iPhone just because you don't like AT&T is like...
