I've never owned or used a laptop, but now that I'm more or less confined to a wheel chair, I seriously need one. It doesn't have to do much, just work the Internet and provide WP (hopefully AppleWorks in one of its later manifestations). So I'm thinking an older model, refurbed. Price is not necessarily a prime objective. but as always, "the cheaper the better." If others think "new" is the only way to go, I'll do that. Will appreciate any and all advice.
