I went up to MacAuthority this morning and picked up my copy of Snow Leopard. Came home and started the install. Yes, it seems to take longer than before, but about 40 minutes later I'm up and running.
There are a few new features such as the way Expose works with the dock now and the upgraded Quicktime, but overall it seems quicker and more responsive.
