ED, tell me, you are good at that:

a) how can we eliminate the box on top of our TV
b) all I want to watch are the local channels rarely , the weather, KET and my husband Sports. I have no TIVo, I never asked for anything on Demand, I am not a movie watcher, most of what I want I get on my Computer, so,

why can't I just get the channels I need instead this basic, then the classic, that is all I get except for one bundle for $ 5.00, so I could get all the other discounts at that time.

I have everything with cable : internet, telephone, TV.

Is there an uncomplicated way to do it all together, but without all the extras?

The thing I like about cable is that they are here on Preston highway and I can roar into their offices and holler or speak sweetly to a person , and -- they have been nice, came out when needed and I do get to speak to a real person, even over the phone. I am planning to go out to Preston and have a poor soul sit down and take me through the forest of these offerings and how they came about to do them the way they do.

I like it the old fashioned way, people to speak to and that's also why I don't go paperless totally. I do want some personal resource.

So, now all of you are invited to give me some good advice, adwise as my mother used to say after she mastered the English "w". Then every V turned into a W. Everything turned out Wery Well, and we lived in Walley Station. So, hopefully your adwise will turn out wery vell, for me.

And I am sure there are others who would appreciate it.

The only issue I have is Tivo.
We watch Tivo not TV so.
Using a cable DVR is not the same. As I use Toast to automatically download and encode shows that I watch at Lunch at work and that is not possible with a straight DVR. You can use a series 2 Tivo like I have on their system but it is tricky.

I just like that there is another choice in Louisville. Long time in coming.
