Nelson this is not a good sign!
You have a broken folder error

Its good that it is not at start up as this means that your OS install is
corrupt and needs to be reinstalled.

What type of folder is it?
After moving content can you delete it?

Subject: [MacGroup] cannot move files

I have folders (and files in them) which want to move. I have tried
to move them to other places on the same HDD, and to another HDD.
When I drag them to a new location, a white "no entry" slashed circle appears.
I have klikt the icon, [command] [i] for info, ownership &
permissions/ (everyone) Read & Write //and// Apply to enclosed items.
No help.
I have held down the option key while dragging. No help.

I can delete, and I can open the files. I have effectively moved the
files (but not folders) by "saving a copy" elsewhere.
