Bill, i have the Sprint Curve 8330, and have Tiger installed, so i can't run
the new released desktop manager, but i have had good experiences with it.
I have been able to sync iTunes (select the playlist first or you will copy
ALL your music over), as well as the Address Book. i don't use iCal so
didnt choose that option.
Other then that, i mount the phone on the desktop, and open it as you would
a drive, you can drag pictures not in iPhoto to the media card/photos album,
as well as music to its folder on there, and others as specified. i.e.
documents, etc.
