Maybe we could all band together and march in email formation to
challenge the people who made this stiff holder to have a little
imagination and make a swivel for the 2010 models . They would only
have to consider swivelling the base. It should be easy, actually.

your sentiment is quite common. There are a LOT of people who decry
the loss of such a great physical interface for their favorite
fruit-flavored computer.
