Tivo is about keeping my wife happy at the basic level. She loves the Tivo never doubt about getting Tivo in her book. She doubts many of my gadget's but not Tivo. Pausing Live TV priceless. Season passes for all her shows could not do with out. Never miss a episode. Now I like being able to download shows off Tivo to watch on my iPhone. I had being using Toast to do the downloading of the TV shows but with the latest release they have had problems with their software on Snow Leopard so I use iTivo and it works great. itivo - Project Hosting on Google Code I also use PyTivo to put video files on my tivo's pyTivo - Wiki rip a Dvd and then upload to the Tivo to playback later. I can also move video across my network to my father in laws Tivo as they live next door. No longer having to record shows on VHS for them as he never figured out how to use a VHS recorder. An All the shows he likes are season passes on my old TV for them to watch.
