Thanks, Ed, That sounds too good to be true - although I don't understand how it works. At the moment we have several computers down in the basement with a wireless router that also serves the Tivo on the first floor. We want to move two of the computers to the second floor. If I bought one of these Ethernet powerlines, I gather I would continue to use our existing router, and then just plug the Powerline into an electrical outlet upstairs, and it would somehow pick up the network signal through the power line? That sounds like magic! Please tell me how it really works!
