The trojan warning I posted yesterday seems exaggerated today. Intego has now said the trojan was only found in one application and, as usual, needs root access to grab hold of your system. The usual rule applies: Don't type in your administrator password unless you have a clear reason to do so!

It seems this was another effort by Intego to drum up business. There may be a little smoke here, but there's no fire.
