Neo Office is a port of Open Office.  I believe it was originally deveoped 
because Open Office didn't support the Mac platform.

I did use NO (OO didn't support OSX), but when the OO  team decided to 
supported OSX, I jumped back to OO.  I used OO on the PC and Linux for 
years.  ;)

Either way, you can't go wrong.
