I'm finally ready to move from Earthlink to another service. I want to
move to Google and a gmail address, instead of Yahoo. There was a lot of good
information about Google and gmail in the April issue of "Mac Life" magazine.
But my wife has had problems in the past with gmail. Even the guys at the Apple
Store told her that, Yes, sometimes there are problems with gmail (specifically
transmitting photos), but not with Yahoo. She has never had problems with
Yahoo, but - and it's just a personal choice - Google and gmail appeal to me
more. Plus I work with a computer whiz who has a Yahoo account, and he told me
that IF he had to switch right now, he would tend to go with gmail, but that
it's a "51-49" thing (Google over Yahoo).
So can someone give me their 2 cents? Or am I making too big of a deal
over this, that if indeed it's a 51-49 thing, they're almost equal anyway, so
go with either?
