Hey, speaking of Intel, everybody, did you hear that at yesterday's stock market closing, Apple's "market cap" (the stock price times the number of outstanding shares) surpassed that of Microsoft AND Intel COMBINED?
Back when Steve Jobs took over Apple in '98 the company was only worth 1/95th (one ninety-fifth) that of the combined worth of its rival "Wintel" juggernaut. Of course Apple and Intel are not rivals any more, but it's cool to think of how far they've come. Wither Dell, you ask?
