I've been having problems with Firefox for months. I finally quit using it.
When I would type in a url it would enter the letters of the URL very slowly, like the old dial up 1200 baud modems used to work. Also the pages would take a lot of time to load. Safari is working well for me though I don't care for it's version of speed dial.
