Any remote access experts out there?

For several months I have been accessing my Mom's computer to help when she has
problems or to install updates for her, etc. In the last month or so something
happened and I'm no longer able to access her computer remotely. She
wouldn't know what to go in and change so I doubt it is anything she's done.
Here is her set up. She is running Mac OS X 10.6.8. She has a Linksys router
configured with port forwarding turned on for ports 3283 and 5900. Her ISP is
Bell South and I have a DYNDNS account set up for her as well. I am using ARD
version 3.4 on 3 different Macs - one laptop and two desktop computers - all
running Mac OS X 10.5.8 to access her computer from both home and work and none
are able to connect. When I enter her dynamic host name in the scanner it does
show the correct IP address for her computer but it is grayed out and I cannot
connect. So it is resolving the IP address, but for some reason I am still
blocked from access. I brought my laptop in and was able to get on her local
network and connect so it is something in her setup to the outside world. I was
able to talk her through allowing me access through iChat's screen sharing
function one day so that is working, but it is not a good option as it takes
too much effort on her part and she is not always available to turn this on
when I am available to work on her computer, so I'd really like to get ARD back
up and running. Any suggestions on what I missing here? Thanks!
