Ed, et. al, I did mine yesterday afternoon. My iPad 2 and MacBook Pro updates, in fact there was another update for LION this morning.
Went smoothly. I like lots of the things in IOS5. Still learning Took me about 2 hours total for all to get done. I have instituted iCloud. I am not sure about it yet. Not real excited about how you do things with iCal and Address book. And it won't seem to keep my password for the mail on my MacBook. More as I discover and learn.
