I finally got time to work on this again. I checked all the settings. It was working on my iPhone and iPad with no problem. On my MacBook no so much, like not at all. Had the funny icon that means not working.
I fiddled with settings and nothing. I deleted the whole account. Closed mail. Started mail again and added my iCloud mail and BAM it works. I am looking to get a book on LION. I can read and understand tech, but prefer a not too technical manual. I have looked on Amazon for the kindle edition of a good MAC OS X Lion book, so many. So what is a good one, a Dummies? Peachpit Learning Series? Portable Genius? Other?
