A wireless solution is going to give you a serious performance hit, though, but if that is all that you can do, then I guess you have to settle for that. You would likely put the wireless extender at the wall, so it gets an unobstructed radio signal from the original wireless point and then let it power its way through the wall. For even better reach, you might also put it in a doorway or some other break in the brick barrier.
