Actually, I really thought Other World Computing (macsales.com) had the best 
prices, but I found ram for half their price on Amazon. I put 16GB into a Mini 
for $100. That's not even available from Apple. In the mini you have to pull 
the memory out to put more in, as there are only two slots. A standard Mini 
comes with 2 X 1 GB.

iMacs, however have FOUR slots and only come with two filled, so usually if you 
buy a standard one (not a build-to-order, which, depending on what 
configuration you order might have them all filled) you can just add one or two 
more modules and you're good to go.

This is way cheaper than letting Apple put it in.
