Hi, Group, I have to admit I have a bad attitude toward iCloud, but I need more information, since iCloud is inevitable.
I have had a Dot Mac/Mobile Me account for years, and I love the way everything syncs. I'm afraid that's about to be history, as I'm not sure I'm going to "upgrade" my iMac to Lion any time soon. I use that machine to work, and I'd have to buy too much new software in order to be fully Lion compatible. Once Mobile Me ceases to exist, will my Snow Leopard machine work with the iCloud at all? Will iTunes on my computer, not the cloud, work as always? If my mail and calendars will no longer sync with my iPhone and Lion MacBook Pro, maybe it's time to ditch those Apple programs in favor of Google mail and calendars. I get tired of having to delete the same emails from all my different devices. What are the alternatives? Thanks!
