On your iPad/ Touch, in the mail app, when you see your list of mail to be read, in the top right corner, look for the edit button. After pressing it ,you can tap the circle next to any email that you want to delete. After selecting them, press the delete tab. Apple has recently added a feature to mail called VIP mail. I haven't gotten into it yet, but somehow you can mark, or designate contacts/ email addresses to be VIP contacts. The VIP mail goes in a VIP mailbox and everything else stays in the main inbox. That might help you filter out what to delete and save. Bill
