I think it will be fine though I like the bigger model. Which my wife uses a lot for web surfing. But I am sure it the iPad mini will be fine. I think Apple is against different form factors until they can come up with their own spin on it. As in the case of the mini it is the same screen res. of the iPad 1&2.
