I do not have the 20th anniversary classic, but I still have five other Macs sitting around that work, including the second model with the little built in screen. Unfortunately this model had two floppy drives, and one does not work, but otherwise it runs pretty good, but slow.

Then I have a Mac IIci and a Performa 6400/200 that I still have plugged in, and turn them on now and then just for the fun of it. My grandson particularly likes to draw using the Performa equipped with an old Claris CAD. My main work station is this PowerMac G5, with a 2.2 processor and an extra harddrive, but I also occasionally use a more recent Mac laptop.

If anybody wants to try out any of the old models, they are more than welcome to use them. But bring your own software.

I wasn't sure what it was and read up on it in Wikipedia. Very interesting. Here's a brief description: < The Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh was introduced as 20th year celebration of Apple Computer, Inc. Apple turned 20 on April 1, 1996, but the TAM was only announced at MacWorld Expo, San Francisco on January 7, 1997, with a release date of 20th March 1997[2] and a retail price of US$7,499.>

I had one. Other than ghe Bose speakers never working properly, i liked it. Traded it in when they had the program for trading it for a cube. Should have kept it!
