First I need to explain the usage and then ask for your suggestions.

I am so regretful that all the Apple products of today were not in my world
when I was a young lad, it would have changed my life. I utilize about ever
product Apple offers as I go throughout my day, one of the most helpful of late
has been the exponential growth of audio books.

I use an iPod Nano "watch" and listen to audio books many hours of the day, I
have been through well over 50 this past year with another 50 to go.....but I
keep buying. I use iTunes and Audio.com. My interest are in the financial
arena but as I get into some of these works I realize I need to do
organizational work around all the information presented.

I have settled on Scrivener as the word processor of choice due to it's
organizational strengths, it's one of the best that will allow me to order my
work based on the Title of the work, the players, techniques, formulas,
results, written article clips as well as video and audio clips can also be
imported. For instance I will be able to add photographs in association with
those I am studying. It also will allow integration of formation and layout
work that I hope to do in OmniGraffle. (something else to learn)

Today I have spent many hours recording Scrivener tutorials so I can then
transfer them to the iPad and watch as time permits. It was in one of these
tutorials that I saw a great presentation that brings my question.

One of the modules was a demonstration on Dictation Apps. The author had just
purchased Dragon Dictation and used it for only two hours, the results were
stunning and will so speed my work, however the author also mentioned that even
though Dragon is the only one he had tested he said that others should work as
well.

Do any of you use dictation software, what do you find is a great performer and
what suggestions can you offer.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

John
