As Lee and Ed said, won't run 10.8, but if you ever need to find such info
about any Mac, go here
http://www.powerbookmedic.com/identify-mac-serial.php and enter your
serial number. (You don't have to add your computer to their database
as
it suggests.) Get the model or sales number from the results and go
here
http://www.everymac.com <http://www.everymac.com/> and do a site
search for the model or sales number
and you will get any info you could possibly want to know about your
particular Mac model including highest OS it will run, expansion
capabilities, etc. Click on Expand all Details or you can just click on
the particular heading you are interested in to see more info. OS info
is
near the bottom. This last site has been a big help to me over the last
couple of years.
