Subject: [MacGroup] Mobile email spam question

Has anyone found a good solution for managing spam email on mobile devices? I
have SpamSieve on my laptop and that does a good job, but when I'm away from my
computer and relying on my iPhone or iPad for email, all of the junk that
SpamSieve filters out still comes through and it's a lot.

Ed, I notice that you're using Mailbox for iPhone rather than iOS's Mail app.
Does that offer any junk-filtering capabilities?

My email server is a straight POP server (no IMAP option) that does some
junk-mail filtering on its own, but still lets a lot come through, which is why
I need a local rather than server-based solution.

My father in law had one of those last year. I have trained him to never click
on any links without me looking at the code. :)
