Jonathan, I don't know if the other email came through or not as Lee has been 
good enough to just now take me off Insight and move me to Apple's email, so

Sorry this is way late Jonathan, so many things get in the way…..here is my 
theory, worth less than 2 cents.  

Remember when Gates was going to buy Intuit?  It was going to be over a 
billion, then anti-trust got involved and for one reason or another the deal 
fell through.  I am 100% sure that Gates offered a sweetheart deal under the 
table if Intuit would not create for the Mac. Can't prove it but I am sure 
there is a lockup period that would preclude Intuit from doing any work on the 
Mac if the reward from Gates was to be granted...…..Apple would know this and 
kept Campbell on the board, why else would Jobs especially allow this, he would 
have gone nuts.
