James,

I guess living under a rock & I don't pick up on the changes in the world. I
had no idea this was coming, so I read several articles. Seems the alarm
companies are in a dither and I do know that my neighbor changed to Insight
phone and her ADT service is ALWAYS calling me (I am one on her call list if
something goes wrong) saying there is a communications error at her residence.
The alarm companies are always pinging our boxes inside the home to be sure
there is two way activity, with cable there are several times a year this is
broken and those on the list get a call.

I work for the largest PC insurance company in the country and we are moving
the entire company to VOIP, I have a two hr. conversation Friday with Corporate
on all the decisions I have to make for my office, the install will be August
16th. Now think about that, we have hundreds of thousands of employees,
offices everywhere, over 17,500 agents offices with each having several staff,
claims offices galore, enough IT to rival the government. We have just leased
one million five hundred thousand sq. ft. of office space in Dallas, done the
same in Phoenix, Atlanta. We will employee over 5,000 in each of the new
offices, and every single tittle of this will be connected by VOIP. Now I
understand why we are doing this, they are preparing.

Thanks for opening my eyes.

John
