I completely agree and understand, however, when Sally at my church gets an email like this on her iPad, she won't smell the phish. She'll think it's official and then the damage or just embarrassment is done. If everyone could smell the phish, all the phishermen would be out of business.

Received this at my office, which made me suspicious- I have no Mac related accounts connected to that address.

When I hovered over the link with the mouse, it showed me the link was really going to a website with 'entertainer' in it's name, backslash flashimages.  But it all looks so official, especially the 'copyright'.

Bill (and all),

There is no need to verify such an email. It stinks of rotten phish. The first clue is the bad grammar and weird formatting. There is nothing about it that looks or sounds official. Sending to an incorrect address is another big clue.

Delete anything that doesn't make sense like that immediately. If the service REALLY had an issue with you they will give you another shot.

Also, if you really had an account with them you could just log into it the way you normally do without going through such a link in an email. As a matter of fact never go to a link from an email you aren't absolutely sure you know who sent it.

And always remember to apply the "sniff test:" if it smells phishy, it almost certainly is.
