I can claim some of the credit because I (along with her dad) bought my step-daughter her first iPad the year they first came out. When she bugged her teachers to allow her to use it more and more for class she ended up on a feasibility study committee with faculty and staff and was very instrumental in the school's transition to the device, including making presentations to assemblies. She then spent her final year of High School working for their IT training faculty and staff in the use of this new tool. Man, I wish I was that smart and accomplished when I was her age! (She's in college this year and she's the only Freshman that was given a job in IT and actually was chosen first among all 50+ applicants for the three open positions. They kept grilling her on how she could possibly know all she does. ::-) ) j. -- Jonathan Fletcher FileMaker 9/10/11/12 Certified Developer Fletcher Data Consulting [email protected] http://www.fletcherdata.com 502-509-7137 Personal miscellany online at http://jfletch.posthaven.com Kentuckiana's FileMaker Developers Group Next meeting: Tuesday, September 24th, noon to 3:30-ish http://www.kyfmp.com -- Jonathan Fletcher FileMaker 9/10/11/12 Certified Developer Fletcher Data Consulting [email protected] http://www.fletcherdata.com 502-509-7137 Personal miscellany online at http://jfletch.posthaven.com Kentuckiana's FileMaker Developers Group Next meeting: Tuesday, September 24th, noon to 3:30-ish http://www.kyfmp.com
