An extra step isn't it to have to use the Kindle app but it sure works well on the iPad and iPhone....AND I found the program that will allow me to take these Kindle books and take them from the Kindle format to a PDF and store them on the Mac rather than just leaving them on the iPad......thus I can now search the book for items I want to find. Wonderful program.
