How to disable Google+'s direct email option
Google has recently implemented a scheme whereby you can be emailed by anyone
via your Google+ account. This is an option that’s enabled by default. If you’d
prefer that people know your tried-and-true email account rather than more
easily find you via Google+, here’s how to switch off that option.

Log into your Gmail account using the service’s desktop interface. This is the
interface that appears when you access Gmail website with your computer but
not, by default, your mobile device.

Click the Tools menu and select Settings. In the resulting General tab of the
Settings page locate the Email via Google+ section and in reply to its “Who can
email you via your Google+ profile” choose No one from the pop-up menu. Scroll
to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

Choose "No one" to help avoid unsolicited email via your Google+ account.
