That's why LastPass and 1Password for iOS both have built-in Web browsers; Mobile Safari doesn't play nice with others. In particular, Apple doesn't allow extensions, like it does with OS X. Even with OS X, nonstandard login pages on Web sites are a problem for any password manager. Besides, with a third-party program, how can another program know that you're at a login page? The format of the login page is at the whim of the programmer. Don't get your expectations too high for these programs. Here's what the LastPass documentation says: Safari Mobile Integration — Safari mobile does not allow 3rd party extensions, therefore we are unable to integrate into the browser with LastPass’ features. Logging into other Apps – Apple’s limitation on the types of interactions/communication that takes place between iOS apps prevents us from being able to auto fill passwords into other apps from the LastPass app. And while launching some apps is possible, we do not support it because Apple’s URL scheme-based system cannot be generalized to work with all apps, and we cannot guarantee that the app launched is the correct application, since multiple apps can register for the same URL scheme. As for 1Password, they've got the same problem. They've written an API into their program on iOS and are encouraging developers to link into the API in order to talk to 1Password. That's about the best you can hope for right now.
