Hello all,

For those of you in the midwest and northeast I hope you are surviving the
recent onslaught of arctic c**p and staying warm and safe.

Ok. Over the weekend, using VueScan, I scanned several photos from my high
school annual and saved the scans as .tif files. I had VueScan save the files
to a folder in Drop Box.

When I look at the files in my dropbox folder on my computer they all are look
fine, no problems. I wanted to share the folder with a friend so I went to
Dropbox.com in Safari, followed directions and shared the folder with friend.

Here’s the problem - when I looked at the photos from within dropbox.com two of
the twenty-two files appear to be corrupted and do not show up properly. When I
download the file from dropbox in safari to my desktop the file is not
corrupted and opens normally.

Now I think the reason the files appear corrupted in dropbox in safari is that
they are 24mb files. I have a 20.8 mb file which appears normal in dropbox in
Safari.

I am wondering why this happens. I checked the file out in Opera and the same
phenomenon occurs.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Harry
